Addiction

I don't find it difficult to explain my love for Subway, especially the one along Rampant Horse Street. Not only do I love the food but the staff are always welcoming and I've spent so much time in that place it feels like a second home. Sometimes I've eaten with friends and sometimes on my own, listening to music, drawing or reading (just feeling pretty good about life). As crazy as it might seem to some I consider it a very special place!

"Still Sleepless, Still restless"-The Legacy

x

I always dreamed of Classic cars and movie screens

The rest of my day was spent shopping, sleeping and cooking. I volunteered to do the cooking for once and after giving it some thought I wanted to do my own American diner (i.e Zaks/Captain America) style dinner.

I wandered around Morrisons looking a little lost and ended up with a lot of unhealthy/nice food!

the meal consisted of..

Curly fries
Fried chicken
Stuffed crust double pepperoni pizza
Olives
Mixed Salad
Nachos with cheese
Coke (Pepsi Max) Floats

It was an easy meal and hardly "real" cooking but it tasted really good and my family liked it. We enjoyed it while listening to The Gaslight Anthem's "59 sound" album in it's entirety to complete the mood and my meal theme.

safari adventures

kind of.

Today I went to the countryside near Spixworth with Tim and his Dad to find snakes. Tim's Dad has had an interest in looking for snakes since his teens which were spent living abroad (I've forgotten exactly where). Shortly after leaving my house Tim informed me his old man lost one of his index fingers after some trouble with a nasty venomous serpent in his youth and I started worrying exactly what I'd let myself in for! This feeling was doubled when I was warned about ticks...pretty much all I could think about was "ticks ticks ticks!!!" and while I was looking where to step and trying not to fall over I was considering where the ticks would be.."I bet there are loads of ticks in this dry grass bit, better not linger", as if I knew anything about them except I didn't want them on me! yes I am a bit of a coward. Despite my freaking out, being followed by one angry fly with a vendetta, the crazy heat and the fact we didn't find any snakes it was a fun adventure!

Worst plant of 2009, these things caused me much grief!

Like I said no snakes but we randomly came across a herd of horses which was cool! I wasn't sure if they were wild but it was rad to see them in this enviroment rather than sectioned in a small field.

mini feet project/idea...probably not very original but I enjoyed doing it.

Snakes 1 - Us 0
Afterwards we went back to their house, drank some cold drinks, sat in the garden and Tim showed me some of his travel slides which were amazing! looking forward to doing some travelling myself!

Rad times!
